Be aware of scammer

Earlier today, I saw this thread from RS forum. a player got scammed by another guy. I know this isn't what you're going to want to hear, but I'll put it out anyway. First off, the *JSP site are neither sanctioned, nor even allowed by Blizzard to be used by players. Admitting to using that site is even more unwise than the act of using it is (and that's saying something there).Second, trades done out of the game's UI or the Auction House (yes, I know of the UI's failings and have offered up a very detailed solution to the problem should the devs want to consider it) are not monitored, nor can they be actioned upon by Blizzard.

They are "caveat emptor" (buyer beware) transactions that the player takes upon him/herself, and in doing so immediately indemnifies Blizzard of any wrongdoing or responsibility. You took part in what is essentially back alley trading, and were taken advantage of. It isn't a fun thing to have happen to you, but in this case, the responsibility does in fact lie with you since you chose not to stay within the bounds of officially sanctioned transaction methods. The best advice I can give you is to contact the JSP site administrators and plead your case there in a calm manner. Blizzard, unfortunately, cannot help you in this case. Let this be a lesson learned that playing the black market has its risks as well as rewards, and you go in knowing you are essentially on your own.
